I've done my sightseeing in Tromso and the Tourist office is open with free internet. Tromso is a small city, 60,000. It's a nice place but it's the setting that is truly special amidst mountains and sea, on an island. You can do it in a day, I did. I used the cable car to get the classic view looking down on the island and its harbour. Motorcycle parking outside the library provided a networking opportunity with bikers from all over Europe. I had an invite to join up with two Greek bikers heading for the cape. NOW ! No flexibility. They are riding hard. Well one of them is. I have two nights accommodation paid for and am exhausted, so I have to pass. Our paths will probably cross later on the E6. I'll putz about relaxing for this afternoon, pack the bike up in readiness for an early start in the morning. Then unless there is something better on offer, a super af canned curry and japatis. Good British food. Enough. It is 12C outside and the sun is shining. It's a good day.
